Differential Service

The differential is a key component of the drive train that rotates and allows the power from the engine to be transferred to the wheels. There are different parts that make up the differential such as gears, shafts and bearings. These parts can become damaged or wear out over time, and if the differential stops working properly, the power from the engine will not be smoothly and efficiently transferred to the wheels. Before this happens to your vehicle, differential service can maintain the health of your differentials, and not lead to a costly repair. Differential service varies depending on the vehicle, but maintenance such as changing the fluid and stopping leaks can prevent future differential repair.
