A: Unlike most auto repair shops in town that charge a set amount for a major component replacement or rebuild, West Michigan Transmissions does the repair and rebuild on site in the shop. The certified technicians disassemble, clean and inspect all the parts, and the good parts are reused. The cost of the actual repair is determined by the number of parts that need to be replaced and the time it takes to repair and replace the parts. A warranty is provided to cover the entire component as a unit. When West Michigan Transmissions rebuilds any component, we guarantee the entire assembly, parts and labor.

A: At West Michigan Transmissions, we have worked hard to make your car repair experience as pleasant as possible. Q: When can you get me in to check my car?

A: You can drop your car off anytime during normal business hours and we will work it into the schedule to get it checked over. We can also schedule an appointment to have your vehicle checked while you wait on the same day. Q: How long does it take to check over my vehicle?

A: Some problems are obvious and can be diagnosed in a matter of just a few minutes. Other problems are not as obvious and may only occur intermittently. Sometimes it can take an hour or two to accurately diagnose a failed component causing a symptom. In either case, you can rest assured knowing your vehicle is being diagnosed by certified technicians. We take whatever time is necessary to find the failure in order to repair it the first time.
